Alex Salmond: Scots may have to take to the streets to gain independence

Alex Salmond says the Scots may have to take to the streets to gain independence, with Boris Johnson set to reject a second poll.
“Peaceful street protests” may be needed to force the prime minister to act, he warned – saying, “All of these things are tactics to implement strategy.”

The former SNP premier, who angered Nicola Sturgeon by creating a new party, said he was ready to share a scene with her, but didn’t want to say sorry.

” No. I’m not saying forgive. The word forgiveness is not mine. Some things are bigger than personalities, ”he said. Radio Times.

And, under the charge that his past behavior towards women made him unfit for office, Mr Salmond: “I am not going to say a word in this campaign, denigrating neither the SNP nor indeed any other party. I do not put any bait. ”
