Three COVID-19 mass vaccination events are scheduled for this weekend in Colorado.


Three mass COVID-19 vaccine events are taking place this weekend and one event is moving on Sunday due to cold weather.
All three events are by invitation only, no walk-in attendees.

Due to the severe weather forecast for Sunday, February 14, the Coors Field 2nd Dose Drive-thru Clinic is moving to the Bruce Schroffel Conference Center at UCHealth University Hospital of Colorado, according to a press release.

UCHealth staff are reaching out to all 1,000 patients to inform them of the change, the statement said.

Kaiser Permanente is hosting mass vaccination events this weekend for Colorado educators and the population over the age of 70, according to a press release. Kaiser Permanente plans to vaccinate 19,000 Coloradans at 16 sites.

Centura Health will host the Pikes Peak area’s “first mass COVID-19 vaccine clinic” this weekend, Centura said in a press release.

“The vaccination clinic, in partnership with COVIDCheck Colorado, a social purpose business of Gary Community Investments, will provide 5,000 doses of Pfizer vaccine to people aged 70 and over who meet the requirements set out by the Department of Public Health and the Colorado environment, ”the release said.
