Victoria Beckham has opened up about how she keeps the romance alive with footballer husband David Beckham in a heartfelt letter to herself.
The 46-year-old former Spice Girl, married to David for almost 22 years and counting, has been pondering little things such as preserving a bit of “mystique” throughout the lockdown.

It comes three years after the fashion designer wrote a letter in British Vogue addressed to herself at 18.

In her latest updated letter for Vogue, Victoria has now turned her attention to writing for her “future self”.

In the candid letter, Posh reflected on the advice she practiced during the lockdown and how she liked the surprise of her beloved husband.

Victoria and David have been together for 22 years

“You said f *** it, and put on a great dress and a smoky eye,” Victoria spoke of being locked out.

“You have always liked to surprise people – especially David. Preserving that bit of mystique still helps after almost 22 years of marriage. (What birthday are you celebrating now?) ”

Posh and Becks first met in 1997 at the Manchester United Players’ Lounge.

More than two years later, the lovebirds tied the knot and the couple has grown stronger ever since.

In the touching letter to her future self, Posh also spoke of cherishing all the time she can spend with her locked out family.

She added, “You’ve experienced more conviviality with your family than you ever imagined possible (every 293 days and it’s not over), and it’s something you will undoubtedly cherish. ”

As well as spending a lot of time with his family throughout 2020, the Beckhams also had reason to be happy last year when Brooklyn proposed to his girlfriend Nicola Peltz.

The Beckhams are delighted to welcome the actress into their family.
