On January 10, Dispatch announced that the seven members of GOT7 would be leaving JYP Entertainment.

According to Dispatch, the 35th Golden Disc Awards will be GOT7’s last activity as a group. An industry source said: “The members of GOT7 are very close. They agreed to stay together, but they did not agree on the choice of their agency. After multiple discussions with the company, they decided to go their separate ways. ”

As previously reported by other media outlets, Dispatch explained that Jinyoung has completed final talks to sign with actor agency BH Entertainment, while Yugyeom holds his final meetings with senior AOMG executives. Previously, JYP Entertainment said that they are discussing various possibilities regarding the GOT7 contracts.

Youngjae was reportedly spotted by the Sublime Artist Agency, which houses Song Kang Ho, Rain, EXID’s Hani, and more. JB has reportedly received offers from a famous hip-hop label as well as a global music label and is considering finding a location that will support him as a solo artist.

Dispatch states that Jackson will continue its global operations through its own Team Wang label and that it will operate in Korea through a separate agency. BamBam would also balance its activities in Thailand and Korea. For his activities in Korea, he will receive help from a content production agency, and he is said to be in talks to sign a contract with MakeUs Entertainment.

According to Dispatch, Mark will return to his hometown of Los Angeles, United States, to spend time with his family, after which he will open a YouTube channel. He plans to work on solo music in the United States.

An acquaintance close to GOT7 shared with Dispatch: “Members care a lot about GOT7. Although they each promote separately, they have agreed to take some time when GOT7 meets. ”

In response to the report, a source from JYP Entertainment said, “We cannot confirm [agencies] every member is in contact with. We will notify you once our position on the GOT7 contract renewal is ready. ”
