Abby will be miserable, but she will realize that it could be morning sickness and she will be excited. Soon, Abby will decide to take her last pregnancy test at the mansion.
It wasn’t long before Abby came back downstairs and told the Chance Chancellor (Donny Boaz) that the test was negative. Abby will quickly send Chance to the night pharmacy for another pregnancy test.
Unfortunately, this test will also be negative and Abby will be bitterly disappointed. Abby will announce that she is going to call her gynecologist and make an appointment, and that they must do everything they can to speed up the process. Chance will think it may not be necessary, but he will agree for Abby’s sake.
At the Grand Phoenix, Amanda Sinclair (Mishael Morgan) will sit down with Naya Benedict (Ptosha Storey) for a full look at her conception, birth, and abandonment.
Naya will begin by telling Amanda that she was unfortunately a mistake, and she will tell the story of her family being very religious and her parents being fully responsible for what happened to Amanda and Hilary Hamilton (Mishael Morgan).
Naya will explain that her parents gave Hilary’s adoptive mother, Rose, a large sum of money and that her parents made all the decisions. Naya will explain that she moved on with her life and that she never looked back.
Naya will also say that she had remorse and that she always knew that Amanda’s father would have no role to play in her life.
At this point, Amanda will ask about her father, and Naya will say he was “just a boy” and died in a car crash a year after Amanda and Hilary were born.
Amanda will then reveal that Hilary also died in a car accident. Amanda will then ask Naya to look at her, which will be difficult for Naya.
Amanda will go wild to never know Hilary, and she will complain that she deserves to be known and loved. ” You missed! Amanda will cry. Naya will then start to say she wanted something, but just then Imani Benedict (Leigh-Ann Rose) will knock on the door.
Amanda opens the door and Imani storms in, declaiming Amanda’s “scam” and wondering why Naya is there.
In the end, Naya will tell Imani that Amanda is his daughter, and Imani will be stunned, saying that cannot be true. Imani will leave upset, and Naya will say that just saying “I’m sorry” is not enough, that’s all she has to offer.
Amanda will ask what Naya was going to say she wanted, but Naya will simply leave in silence.
On the Jabot jet, which will still be stranded in Colorado, Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) and Summer Newman (Hunter King) chat while Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) and Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) sleep during the layover.
Billy will be happy that Summer is directing JCV, and soon he will be tackling an uncomfortable subject.
Billy will apologize for what happened between them previously, and Summer will graciously accept the apology, saying that she wasn’t faultless and that she has changed and grown up too. When Summer and Billy are done talking, Lily’s eyes will open and she will have heard the exchange.
Later, the jet will finally have reached Los Angeles, and Kyle and Summer will disembark. Lily will ask Billy what happened between him and Summer, and Billy will readily admit that he slept with Summer after finding out that Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) had cheated on him with Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow).
Lily will be shocked and she will need some time to process the news.
At the Los Angeles hotel, Kyle and Summer will settle in, and Summer will tell Kyle that he forgave Billy. Summer and Kyle will then get playful and end up having sex, then ordering breakfast.
Summer will call Wyatt Spencer (Darin Brooks) at Spencer Publications, and she will ask to come over and discuss JCV business and a few other things.
