The punisher is a ruthless and murderous vigilante without regard for the law. That’s part of what made him one of Marvel’s most popular characters, but it also means his symbol has been embraced by both good and… not-so-good people and organizations.
The controversial skull emblem has been seen adorning the clothing and uniforms of civilians and law enforcement personnel (ironic considering Frank Castle is not a fan of the police) in very tense situations over the years , and we saw it once again during the recent Capitol Hill riot. This has led to a lot of backlash, with some even calling on Marvel Comics to permanently remove the character and his logo.

It is an impulsive and myopic reaction, and many Punisher fans were quick to point out that his symbol was deceived.
Netflix The punisher Star Jon Bernthal responded to one of those fans on Twitter, stating that these “lost and scared” people “have nothing to do with what Frank stands for.”
