The Lord of the Rings: Amazon series plot details revealed


The official synopsis for Amazon’s The Lord of the Ring TV series has been revealed, giving fans a preview of what their next Midde-earth adventure will be like. and confirmed by IGN, and meanwhile doesn’t give out a ton of new details, he mentions some of the locations that will be featured on the show, including Misty Mountains, Lindon, and Númenor.The full synopsis is as follows; Amazon Studios’ upcoming series brings the heroic legends of the legendary Second Age in Middle-earth history to screens for the very first time. This epic drama takes place thousands of years before the events of JRR Tolkien. The Hobbits and The Lord of the Rings, and will take viewers back to a time when great powers were forged, kingdoms rose to glory and crumbled, unlikely heroes were tested, hope hangs on the thinnest of sons, and the greatest villain that ever flowed from Tolkien’s pen threatened to cover everyone in darkness. Amazon’s prequel The Lord of the Rings will take place in the Second Age of Middle-earth, which will span a long period between the original Dark Lord Morgoth and the first defeat of his minion Sauron.
