SASKATOON – The Saskatchewan Health Authority (SHA) is warning the public of a “potential super-spray event” at a restaurant in Saskatoon.
Those who have visited Crackers Restaurant / Bar, located at 1-227 Pinehouse Dr. between December 23, 2020 and January 4, 2021 should immediately self-isolate for 14 days, from the time of being on the premises.

An outbreak was declared at the restaurant on January 8 and 16 positive cases were identified, the SHA said in a press release on Sunday.

“If you have been there during this time, but have already been in contact with public health as part of this investigation, please continue to follow the instructions provided to you,” says a notice from the SHA. .

Those who have been to the restaurant during the specified time, have not spoken to Public Health, and the 14 days have passed, are asked to call HealthLine 811 to schedule a test.

“As long as you are no longer contagious, if you were COVID positive, it will show up on a test result and help public health determine if further contact tracing is needed,” the SHA said.

These individuals are not required to self-isolate, as the incubation period has passed.
