Some of the films shown include the action comedy Red Notice with Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson, Gal Gadot and Ryan Reynolds of Vancouver; the third and final installment of the To all the boys and Kissing cabin series, political satire Do not seek with Leonardo DiCaprio and Jennifer Lawrence; the Western led by Idris Elba / Regina King The harder they fall et thriller zombie Army of the dead with Dave Bautista.
As it stands, none of these films have specific release dates. Overall, Netflix has 71 movies coming out this year, per Variety, and the streamer says at least one will drop every week.
It should be noted, however, that this number could very well increase during the year if Netflix were to acquire any films. Last year, several studios sold their films to Netflix amid the COVID-19 pandemic, including the romantic comedy Kumail Nanjiani-Issa Rae Lovebirds, Aaron Sorkin’s The Chicago 7 trial and Millie Bobby Brown Enola Holmes.
With the theatrical landscape of 2021 looking uncertain (especially as studios like Warner Bros. are bringing their movies to streaming services), it is quite possible that a host of additional films will be sold on Netflix and released throughout the year. ‘year.
