LIAM Payne has revealed he was tested for the coronavirus before visiting his son Bear.
The One Direction star, 27, gave rare insight into his co-parenting schedule with ex Cheryl Tweedy and admitted it had been “difficult” to visit her son during the pandemic despite live only “in the street”.
“I went to see Bear today, we had a little hangout which was good because I hadn’t seen him for a few weeks,” he said during an Instagram Live with producer Ben Winston, with whom he worked on One Direction’s 2013 This Is American Documentary,
“It’s difficult with COVID because I have to make sure I’m negative before going to see it, so you have to wait a few days before you can test then…
“He’s only in the street and it’s completely complicated, but he’s grown so big, huge. ”
Ahead of Christmas, The Sun exclusively reported that Liam had left his London Borough and was renting a £ 5million seven-bed mansion in Buckinghamshire with his model fiancee Maya Henry.
Liam, who asked the gorgeous brunette this summer after dating for two years, is enjoying the quiet life near his three-year-old boy.
Ahead of Christmas, Cheryl showed that Bear is already following in her parents’ footsteps as the couple gave a sweet rendition of the Jingle Bells on Jessie Ware’s Table Manners podcast.
As they came to the end of the song, proud mom Cheryl said, “Well done bubba. ”
Speaking about her Christmas plans on the podcast, which was recorded before changes to the government’s party bubble plans were made, Cheryl said, “It’ll probably just be me, my mom and Liam.
“My mom makes a great roast, and Liam normally makes the meat at Christmas. He’s really good at it and puts it all in there.
“We watch the movie Home Alone. I love. I think it’s because he reminds me of when I was a kid. I love mulled wine.
“I love that everyone wears the same pajamas on Christmas night… This year we’re going to have Disney ones. ”
The podcast was taped before Boris Johnson gave up plans for a five-day Christmas bubble and placed Buckinghamshire where Cheryl lives at level 4.
However, she lives with her mother, and the tighter restrictions have not prevented children from moving between their parents if they are separated.
The Girls Aloud star and mum-of-one is notoriously deprived of her home life with her son, Bear, and her relationship with her ex Liam.
But after returning to Instagram after a long hiatus, Cheryl offered a glimpse of her cozy Christmas home by revealing a sparkling tree and Santa Claus at the heart of her festive decorations.
To the tune of Winter Wonderland, Cheryl showed off her tree adorned with gold, bronze and dark purple baubles before panning the camera to a figure of Santa Claus sitting next to it.
Cheryl, who left ex-Liam’s manor house in Surrey when they split, now lives with Bear in Buckinghamshire.

It was revealed last week that Liam had shelled out a lot of money to help Cheryl buy her decadent £ 3.7million home.
The home’s title deeds show her One Direction ex helped her pay for the property before she moved in March 2019.
She lives there with Bear and her mom Joan.
