Kayla Braxton, backstage interviewer for Friday night SmackDown, tore fans apart on Twitter for tagging her in COVID-19 jokes, especially since she contracted the virus in 2019. Braxton was on RAW tonight instead of Charly Caruso.
After RAW stopped broadcasting, Braxton tweeted, “While I was at work tonight, I got a call saying that someone very close to me has died from a covid. And while logging into this platform tonight, I noticed several disgusting tweets tagging me about joking about me when I got the virus earlier this year. FU * K you. ”
In June 2020, Braxton revealed that she had tested positive for COVID-19 for the second time.
At the time, Braxton tried to raise awareness that it is possible to contract the virus a second time.
“I was silent but like everyone else is sharing, I feel like it is my responsibility to share this PSA: YOU CAN GET COVID-19 MORE THAN ONCE! I got it back in early March and thought I was invincible after I healed. This is not true. Don’t be stupid like me, ”Braxton wrote in June of last year.
As reported, there is believed to be an outbreak of COVID-19 that is currently affecting WWE, AEW, and Impact Wrestling. WWE Champion Drew McIntyre is currently in quarantine after testing positive for the virus even though he showed no symptoms.
