AMAZING footage shows the interior of a pub frozen in time and trapped beneath a bustling shopping center.
The #Green #Man, in #Loughborough, #Leicestershire, was closed in 1993 – and still has empty glasses and bags of peanuts on his bar.

#Doors were sealed during renovations at the #Carillon #Court center – and bosses said it would cost too much to create a new entrance.
#Inside the pub, the bar is still intact alongside three huge murals depicting scenes of castles and knights painted by artist #David #Perry.
The benches are still elevated – despite no customers visiting since the 90s.
There are also empty pint glasses scattered around the square and bags of peanuts on the bar, dating from 1993.
#Although the pub was visited by potential developers, they all decided not to take the job.
#Speaking in 2011, #Baljit #Kooner, director of #Carillon #Court, said: “#Developers looked at it a few years ago, but were put off by the cost.
“#Many ads seem to be bought by #Tesco to make them #Express stores. #But I don’t think even #Tesco would want to open a store there.

“The whole place looks like a castle inside, the photos are very impressive.
“It’s also pretty clean – there aren’t as many cobwebs as you might think. ”
#And a new novel featuring the abandoned pub is also set to be published – written by four friends who went to college in #Loughborough.
The #Green #Man’s #Dark #Secret should focus on the disappearance of several traders from the market.
#Writers #Karen #Ette, #Stephen #Ashurst, #Melinda #Ingram, and #Donna #Shepherd spoke with around 25 other former regulars to get a feel for what The #Green #Man looked like.
#Ms #Shephard told #Leicestershire #Live: “#It has been hard work but it has been fun to do.
“The original idea was to write more short stories, but instead of having a seasonal theme, we chose a common place.
“#Min (#Melinda) suggested writing stories related to the #Marketplace and we all agreed it would be great to take each of the characters from our previous stories and put them back together. #We wondered how they were all going to react.
“#Karen told us about the underground pub she visited many years ago. #Min and I were fascinated – because we are not local to #Loughborough, although I attended university there from 2009 to 2015.
“We put together photos and agreed that the old pub was the perfect setting. ”
