#Famous cake maker and #Food #Network host and star #Kerry #Vincent died of an undisclosed illness on #January 2.
#News of #Vincent’s passing was announced on the official #Oklahoma #Sugar #Art #Show #Facebook page. “#It is with great sadness that I must report the passing of #Kerry #Vincent earlier this evening,” the statement read. “Being a very private person when it came to anything that wasn’t cake, she didn’t want to expose her illness to the public. #Unfortunately, her fight is over but she will have no more pain. #She will be sadly missed by everyone she touched through the sugar arts, as well as personally. There will be no service at his request. #Thank you for your thoughts and prayers. ”

#Born in #Wyalkatchem, #Western #Australia, on #June 1, 1945, #Vincent was a freelance cake maker and writer. #She is best known for #Food web challenge where she was a judge from 2006 to 2012. #In 2014, she then hosted #Save my bakery where she helped bakeries in difficulty. #She also hosted the #Special #Food #Network on the skills of the #Grand #National #Wedding #Cake winning candidates. #Competition. #His other credits include The #Great #Australian #Bake #Off, #Holiday #Gingerbread #Showdown, #Best #Thing I #Ever #Eat and #Last cake standing.

#In 2002 she wrote the book #Romantic wedding cakes. #She was inducted into the #Sugarcraft #Hall of #Fame of the #International #Cake #Exploration #Society (ICES) in 2004 and the #Dessert #Professional #Hall of #Fame in 2010.

#She is survived by her husband #Doug #Vincent.
