Ellen DeGeneres returns to talk show after recovering from Covid-19

In a preview for Wednesday’s episode of “The Ellen DeGeneres Show,” DeGeneres opened up about when she learned she had contracted the virus.

“Obviously there’s a lot of negative stuff going on, so I want to talk about something positive, my Covid test,” she joked, adding, “I’m fine now, I’m fine. Everything is clear. ”

She continued, “I was getting ready to tape the show you were going to be here for, and I was in hair and makeup, powdering my face and my extensions in place, then my assistant, Craig, comes in and says, “You have tested positive for Covid. And then everyone around me ran away. It’s funny, people are really scared. Some have not returned since. ”

DeGeneres returned home where she said she was keeping her distance from his wife, Portia de Rossi.

“I had to quarantine and Portia made me sleep in another room on a different bed because she wanted the race car bed for herself,” she said.
DeGeneres described her symptoms, which included back pain that “looked like a crack in a rib.”

“This is the only symptom I have had,” she says. “I didn’t have a headache. I didn’t have a fever. I haven’t lost my sense of taste, even though I wore Crocs with socks for a day, so you’re the judge. ”

The host added that she still did not know where she contracted the virus.

“What’s strange is that I don’t know where I got it. I still don’t know where I got it. I wear a mask. I wash my hands. I only licked three or four doorknobs. It’s a mystery to me, ”she said.

Wednesday’s episode of the show featured a virtual audience.
