EastEnders’ mother Gary Webster dies of Covid as he and son continue to fight virus

Former EastEnders actor Gary Webster has revealed how Covid tore apart three generations of his family – his mother dying Thursday four days after contracting the virus.
Gary, 56, took to Twitter on Monday to share that his beloved mother “passed away peacefully in her sleep” as he and his eldest son Jack, 20, continue their fight after testing positive.

Sharing a photo of his late mother sitting next to his wife Wendy, with whom he also shares his 17-year-old son Freddie, Gary said: “Thank you very much everyone for such wonderful support to my son and I as we recover from Covid.

“Last Sunday, my mother also contracted the virus. 3 generations in one week. I am devastated to say that my mother did not survive and passed peacefully in her sleep last Thursday. She was much loved. ”
