The bail application was filed #Thursday and is due to be heard in the #Manitoba #Court of #Queen’s #Bench at 10 a.m. on #January 6, 2021.
#He faces nine counts in the #Southern #District of #New #York, including conspiracy of racketeering, sex trafficking of a minor, conspiracy to commit sex trafficking and two counts of transportation for the purpose of prostitution.
#Nygard, 79, resigned from his company in #February after the FBI and #New #York #Police raided his #New #York headquarters.
#He was charged by 57 women in a rape, sexual assault and human trafficking class action lawsuit, which was suspended this summer, and two of #Nygard’s sons have filed a separate lawsuit against their father, claiming that ‘they had been statutorily raped under his leadership when they were teenagers.
#Through a representative, #Nygard denied the allegations in both lawsuits.
