Her younger sister Waliyha, 22, married 24-year-old Junaid Khan on Saturday.
About 40 guests were said to have attended the wedding last weekend, which took place at the home of another of Zayn’s sisters, Saffa, in Bradford, according to the MailOnline.
Bradford is currently at level 3, which means wedding ceremonies can still take place with up to 15 people, but wedding receptions are prohibited.
Zayn was not at the wedding and is currently in the United States.
The couple were married in a traditional Islamic ceremony under a marquee set in Saffa Garden and a reception followed at the same location, it was reported.
Police arrived at the house around 6 p.m. after being called by neighbors, according to the report.
West Yorkshire Police have confirmed that a number of people have been given fixed penalty notices.
A spokesperson told MailOnline: ‘Police attended a speech just after 6 p.m. on Saturday night following a report of a big party.
“A group of people were fined inside the address and fixed penalty notices issued due to a violation of the coronavirus restrictions.”
Mirror Online has reached out to representatives for Zayn Malik for comment.
Zayn did not attend the wedding.
Throughout the lockdown, the singer stayed at his girlfriend Gigi Hadid’s family farm in Pennsylvania.
If Zayn had been able to make the trip across the pond, he would have had to self-isolate for 14 days upon arrival in the UK.
Gigi messaged Waliyha on Instagram, writing, “I wish I could be here so happy for you. Big love x. ”
