Wonder Woman 1984 Early Reactions Hail It As “What We All Need”

The first opinions are for Wonder Woman 1984, and it looks like there is hope for 2020 after all.

The early reviews for the film are excellent and fans will be delighted to know that they are all spoiler-free – so it should be safe to scroll through social media without being spoiled.

The reviews that were screened at the start of the film are thrilled with the sequel and say all the right things, including that the film is uplifting and hopeful, and just “what we all need” right now.

A critic tweeted: « I’m so happy to report that # WW84 is an absolute blast from start to finish. An exceptional compliment to the first film, it is packed with heart, hope, love, action, romance and humor. @PattyJenks, @GalGadot and the team delivered one of the best suites in DC. I was in tears when it ended. ”

Another wrote: “I got to watch Wonder Woman 1984 yesterday and… honestly, that’s exactly what I needed. What we all need. It’s uplifting, hopeful, and so Wonder Woman. Just a beautiful film with themes that strike you right in the heart. . # WW84. ”

A third added: “# WW1984 tells us that our world deserves the kindness and empathy of a superhero like Wonder Woman, and in 2020 this seems like the most radical and needed message of all. Wonder Woman is the superhero we need AND the one we deserve. Pass it on. ”

Wonder Woman 1984 follows Gal Gadot’s Diana Prince who must face off against two villains: business mogul Maxwell Lord (played by The Mandalorian‘S Pedro Pascal) and a la timidly gemmologue Barbara Minerva (Kristen Wiig), other Cheetah.

Chris Pine’s Steve Trevor will also make a mysterious return to help him.

The film will be released in the US on December 25 in theaters and land on HBO Max the same day.

It has now been announced that countries like the UK that do not have access to the streaming platform will be able to see it in theaters from December 16.

Wonder Woman 1984 has a release date of December 25, 2020 in the United States. The UK will see a December 16 release date.
