Tom Cruise reportedly berated Mission: Impossible 7 crew members for violating social distancing measures

“I never want to see him again, ever!” And if you don’t, you’re fired, if I see you doing it again, you’re f ** king gone. And if anyone on this team does that – that’s it, and so do you and so do you, ”Cruise can be heard on The Sun’s exclusive audio track.

The rant comes after two crew members apparently stood within 2 meters (about 6 feet) of each other on the film set, the UK tabloid reported.

“We are the gold standard. They’re out there in Hollywood making movies right now because of us! Because they believe in us and what we do, ”Cruise can be heard in the audio recording. “We are creating thousands of jobs that you m * therf ** kers. I never want to see him again! ”

Paramount Pictures is producing the film. He is currently filmed at Warner Bros. Studio in Leavesden, Hertfordshire, outside London, where the recording is said to have been made. Warner Bros., like CNN, is owned by WarnerMedia.

“Mission: Impossible 7” had previously faced delays due to the Covid-19 pandemic. In February, a three-week filming was scheduled to take place in Venice, Italy, but the country experienced an outbreak of coronavirus cases, putting production on hold.

British media reported that 12 members tested positive for Covid-19 on set in Italy in October.

British media also reported that Cruise tried to make sure there were no more delays, even paying 500,000 British pounds ($ 676,000) out of his own pocket for a ship on which the cast and crew could become isolated during the production of the film.

“You can tell that to the people who lose their fucking homes because our industry is closed. It’s not going to put food on their table or pay for college, ”Cruise continued in the audio obtained by The Sun. “This is what I sleep with every night – the future of this fucking industry!” ”

“Mission: Impossible 7” is currently filming in the UK and is due out in November 2021.

CNN has reached out to the Cruise and Paramount Pictures publicist for comment. The New York Times reports that Paramount declined its request for comment.
