The Sun did not say when the incident happened, but the filmmakers arrived in London in early December.

The seventh “Mission: Impossible” was one of the first films to cease production due to the coronavirus when it left filming in Venice, Italy in February.

Production resumed in September, with shootings in Italy, Norway and London. In July, Cruise personally called on the Prime Minister of Norway to shoot parts of the film in Norway under amended quarantine rules.

The Paramount Pictures movie is scheduled for release in November 2021.

Cruise told the team that Hollywood relies on films like “Mission: Impossible” to keep the industry under siege.
