Today, Eamonn Holmes was forced to seek emergency medical help from Dr Hilary Jones.
Eamonn wore glasses on today’s show alongside his wife Ruth Langsford and explained the reason for his change in appearance.

The presenter’s left eye looked swollen and sore and he said he woke up in great pain and was unable to see.

Ruth said it was “scary” when they woke up today and Eamonn said he was suffering from a stye.

A stye is a small lump on the eyelid caused by an infection.

Eamonn said he spoke to Dr Hilary upon entering the studio and obtained a prescription after being examined.

Ruth said, “Yes, Dr. Hilary has you sorted. ”
