Sudbury returns to green Monday


Things are improving on the COVID-19 front in the Sudbury area. The Ontario government has moved Public Health Sudbury and its districts back to the “Green Prevention” category for the provincial COVID-19 response system. The changes are due to go into effect on Monday, December 21.
“Although our case numbers and other factors have allowed our region to move from the Yellow-Protect category to the Green-Prevent category, it remains extremely important to follow public health guidelines,” a publication said. PHSD on the Facebook page of this agency.

The display thanked the public for their efforts to date to keep our case count low over the past few weeks.

“Our actions are important and we can prevent the spread of the virus. The situation will continue to be closely monitored. As the holiday season approaches, it is so important that we continue to be vigilant. COVID-19 will find a way if we let it. ”

The last part of the display urged residents of the area to follow the usual precautions in the event of a pandemic.
