Good Morning Britain anchor Ranvir has been a favorite with viewers from the start, forming a great partnership with professional dancer Giovanni Pernice, which has even sparked romance rumors.
The pair had two dances to perform on Saturday and while scoring an impressive 26/30 for their waltz with two 9s and an 8 from the judges, things took a turn for the worse with their Christina Aguilera’s Jive to Candyman scoring just 18, including only a 5 from Craig Revel-Horwood.
Ranvir and Giovanni both seemed disheartened by the brands and fans were equally depressed about it and, with Maisie Smith rising to the top of the table and a tie between Bill Bailey and Jamie Laing, they feared Ranvir was heading for dancing. . and even out of the competition, missing next week’s final.
One tweeted: “I’m very stressed for Ranvir! I love them all but she is in danger girl and I can’t cope if she leaves “and, equally worried, another posted:” I think Ranvir might be in trouble tonight. I hope I am wrong ”
A third viewer made an even darker prediction, commenting, “I think ranvir isn’t strictly this week guys anymore…”
Ranvir’s frustrating night on the dance floor came after she received messages from her fellow GMBs, including Piers Morgan, who told her “we need a win!” And a moving video of Kate Garraway, which left her visibly moved and had a few viewers at home in tears.
Prior to the Saturday show, Jamie was advising bookmakers to get the start this weekend, having already been in the bottom two on numerous occasions.
