Candy-coated and ready for the track, the 13 queens of Course de dragsters de RupaulThe 13th season made its long-awaited debut on Twitter on Wednesday afternoon. The show official social media account revealed to each attendee with their own short video intro before the more in-depth live broadcast event, Meet the queens, which will begin at 1 p.m. EST and will be available for viewing here. This is the first season to be filmed in the midst of the pandemic, which RuPaul said was hardly a problem: “Competing safely and fiercely, our 13 queens have proven that it takes more than a global pandemic to keep a good queen ashore. ”

Each of the competing artists has a chance to win $ 100,000 and follow in the footsteps of Season 12 reigning queen Jaida Essence Hall. The 13th season of Course de dragsters de RuPaul New Years Day premieres Jan. 1 at 8 p.m. EST with Course de dragsters de RuPaul: Untucked following immediately after at 9:30 p.m. EST.
