Rooney makes five changes for Coventry City Clash – Blog


Wayne Rooney has made five changes to the Derby County squad who drew 1-1 with Wycombe Wanderers on Saturday for tonight’s Sky Bet Championship game against Coventry City (kick off 7:45 p.m.).

And there’s a start for Poland international Krystian Bielik making his second first-team appearance since his ACL injury in January.

The 22-year-old returned for the Rams against Barnsley ahead of the international break last month.

Nathan Byrne and Lee Buchanan both return to defense as Curtis Davies and Craig Forsyth make their way, while Max Bird and Jason Knight return to midfield.

After impressing on Saturday against the Chairboys, Colin Kazim-Richards makes his second Derby start tonight.

Scotland goalkeeper David Marshall will lead the Rams against the Sky Blues.
