As for the deadly leader Vardy, Rodgers compared him to another clinical finisher he used to handle in Liverpool – Luis Suarez.
“Jamie Vardy is a great player,” he continued. “He reminds me of Luis Suarez, how he gives the team such a boost – such a catalyst.
“He doesn’t need a lot of touches. He trains every day. He takes care of his body. He’s super professional.

Double scorer Maddison also spoke with Amazon and revealed that the Foxes’ recent slow departures were at the forefront of their concerns.
“It was really good, we wanted to have a good start,” said the midfielder.
