Prince Charles stopped seeing Camilla after deciding to marry Diana: report

The Netflix show The Crown was once again criticized by an expert for its plot to pressure Prince Harry to renounce his deal with the streaming service.

The show has received backlash for its portrayal of several royals since it started airing on the streaming giant.

The show, which is in its fourth season, has recently been criticized for its portrayal of Prince Andrew.

The Crown again courted controversy by showing the characters of Princess Diana and Prince Charles.

Royal commentators and the UK media, especially the tabloids, covered the show extensively.

A latest Daily Express report said, “Princess Diana may have had up to 10 affairs before her husband, Prince Charles, first cheated on her former flame, Camilla Parker Bowles. ”

According to the publication, Princess Charles dated Camilla in 1972 and had an illicit relationship with her in 1979 after her marriage. He said the prince would have stopped seeing her when he decided to marry Diana.

Commenting on The Crown’s plot, he said the show emphasizes that Charles never stopped contacting his former mistress.

Speaking to Royal Daily Express commentator Howard Hodgson, “this particular scenario was completely inaccurate.”

He said: “When Charles arrives at his third [relationship] with Camilla, they are now both married and both very unhappy, and Patti Palmer-Tomkinson invites them to her home in 1986, and that’s it.
