60 revelers were separated by police after being called to an unlicensed music event in Kemp Road, Chadwell Heath this evening.
Police say they have dispersed the crowd and fined the rave organizer £ 10,000.
In a tweet, Barking and Dagenham Police said, “We take the lives of all who live in our communities seriously. We only intend to protect our communities and operate within Covid Tier 4 legal guidelines. Please help us help you, stay home, stay safe this NYE.

It happened as organizers advertised events on social media where revelers were promised a bash at a secret location.
Those who wish to attend must follow an Instagram account and provide proof of identity in private messages before being sold a ticket and knowing where to go. One of the biggest parties planned for tonight known as the Good Vibez rave.
Organizers promise that the event will take place in a covered outdoor venue.
According to the online flyer, the headlining event is Mutant with a Garage Play to the music of Mark H Nostalgic, Myro and Casper. It is not clear if the acts intend to happen live or even if they know their names are party related.
Another party in the capital was promoted as ‘Good riddance 2020 NYE Special’ while a group known as Sunday Afters announced illegal rave tickets at £ 30.
Organizers calling themselves Vox Sound announced an ‘Acid in Wonderland New Years Secret Rave’ on instagram.
In a later post, he said, “We’re not allowed to have fun this year, so we’re going to be doing just that. ”
Many rave organizers have stopped advertising on social media because the high visibility allows the police to follow them and shut down the events.
Metropolitan Police have warned revelers to stay at home and have deployed additional officers to patrol the capital to catch those breaking the rules.
