Millionaire Kelly Loeffler mocked her ad saying she knew what it was to ‘wait for that pay’

Millionaire Senator Kelly Loeffler was mocked for an ad claiming she knew what “it feels like to wait for that paycheck.”

Ms Loeffler, who is fighting to retain her seat in Georgia, is married to New York Stock Exchange chairman Jeffrey Sprecher.
She is said to be the richest member of Congress with an estimated fortune of between $ 800 million and $ 1 billion, according to Forbes.
She was appointed to the Senate seat in December 2019 by Georgia Governor Brian Kemp after Johnny Isakson resigned for health reasons.
Ms Loeffler finished second in the election last month and is now due to face Raphael Warnock in January.
“It is so important to have Senator Loeffler in the Senate, especially at this time. What we need more than ever is entrepreneurship, ”said former Georgia Republican Party deputy director Janelle King,
“We need someone who understands not only how to write paychecks and sign paychecks, but also what it feels like to wait for that paycheck.”
Ms Loeffler and her husband were investigated for insider trading after making investments on January 24, the same day she received an intelligence briefing on the pandemic.
She was ultimately cleared by Donald Trump’s Justice Department and the Republican-led Senate Ethics Committee.
“She’s worth $ 500 million. She is the richest senator in the United States. She’s running against a man who grew up in The Projects, ”Twitter user Jason Patterson said.
David Perdue, Ms Loeffler’s GOP colleague, is also embroiled in a close race with Democrat Jon Ossoff.
