Man United unofficial brief lists four positives under Solskjaer

Amid the usual battle between Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s supporters and those clamoring for his lead following Manchester United’s exit from the Champions League, an unofficial brief highlighted the positives.
The #Oleout squad was booming on social media on Tuesday night as Solskjaer’s sides were dismantled by RB Leipzig in a decisive Champions League game that saw United ousted from the competition. Which this is a good thing, Apparently.

And the club certainly want to point out the positives, Duncan Castles reporting an unofficial brief listing four positives.

First, they are absolutely still up for four trophies. They beat Luton and Brighton to stay in the League Cup, they have yet to play an FA Cup game and are now favorites for the Europa League.

19 points and 19 goals is better than last season, when their 13 points and 13 goals represented their worst Premier League start.

Five points behind the leaders has a lot to do with Liverpool not being as brilliant as United improving. Jurgen Klopp’s side had 31 points after 11 games last season, up from 24 this season.

And the team may have an identity, but whether it’s the one they want is hotly debated.
