Linda explained how, during a recent hospital appointment, her doctor told her that something had manifested in her liver during a CT scan.
Reflecting on the news, she told the Mirror: “It’s scary, I’m not going to lie. I try to be optimistic and positive but I had a really bad day coming home [home].
“I told my sisters that I was fine but when I entered my house I cried. I needed to have this cry because I’m afraid of dying.
Linda added that she did not want to talk about her prognosis, saying her consultant was very “optimistic” and told her they weren’t talking about her final months.

The singer’s sister, Anne, also battled cancer at the same time, with the 69-year-old being diagnosed with stage three breast cancer days after Linda.
After the sisters received their heartbreaking diagnoses, their sister Maureen moved in with Anne, 69, and Linda moved in with her sister Denise.
Anne’s diagnosis came 20 years after she was first diagnosed with the disease in 2000.
However, Anne revealed earlier in December that her cancer “disappeared” after receiving chemotherapy.
The star was diagnosed with breast cancer in June alongside her younger sister Linda, who is battling secondary cancer and has also received chemotherapy treatment.
