Kristen Wiig murders “Home Alone 2”; Jost plays a joke on Johansson

Kristen Wiig killed off as a guest host on “Saturday Night Live”, particularly during a sketch where the former cast member portrayed the Pigeon Lady in “Home Alone 2: Lost in New York.” In fact, the Pigeon Lady of Wiig committed a bloody murder in the so-called “never seen before! ‘1992 movie moment – re-imagining a Central Park reunion with Kevin McCallister (the role of Macaulay Culkin was played by’ SNL ‘regular Melissa Villaseñor).

In the scene, the bird-covered Pigeon Lady (played by Brenda Fricker in the beloved holiday movie) is hungry and homeless. Kevin de Villaseñor shows his father’s credit card that pays for his stay at the chic The Plaza Hotel. He casually gives the leftover pizza to the pigeons.

When he finally offers to put Pigeon Lady in the Plaza (“It’s Christmas after all”), the Wet Bandits (played by Kyle Mooney and Mikey Day) show up to steal Kevin’s credit card for revenge. Wiig’s Pigeon Lady moves for punches, knocking both to the ground. Jim Carrey as Joe Biden: Alex Moffat takes over from ‘SNL’

“It’s my ticket out of here. Die! She said, stabbing the two with an umbrella. She screams “Die, die, die” until her own face is covered in their blood (prompting Wiig to break his character and fight the laughter). Kevin de Villaseñor gives his famous scream on the face at the sight.

The Pigeon Lady bathed in blood then wishes everyone a Merry Christmas.

In her opening monologue for the season finale “SNL”, Wiig channeled Julie Andrews. She was joined by Maya Rudolph and Kate McKinnon in saying goodbye to a terrible 2020 with an unusual take on the classic “The Sound of Music”, “My Favorite Things.”

Later on in the show, Colin Jost and Michael Che continued their “Weekend Update” tradition for the season finale – by writing a nasty joke and getting the other to tell it on the live show. The joke is invisible until it is read during the broadcast. Jost got the small end of the gag because he was forced to play a joke on his wife Scarlett Johansson by Che.

In the joke, Jost read that Creed frontman Scott Stapp is playing Frank Sinatra in an upcoming Ronald Reagan biopic.

“But the good news is Sammy Davis Jr. will be played by Scarlett Johansson,” Jost read on the charts. Jost put his head in his hand over the joke aimed at his wife’s controversial “whitewash” cast in “Ghost in the Shell.”

Private celebrity couple Jost and Johannson announced their nuptials in October via a post on their Instagram page.
