Plus Judge Judy fans wouldn’t dream of ending up in his reticule – but one man had a full Judge Judy– a stylish reprimand for not wearing a mask in his hair salon.
The lawyer and former family court judge, real name Judy Sheindlin, shared the anecdote in a recent interview with the New York Post.
His show Judge Judy is currently in its 25th and final season. A successor program will air on Amazon’s IMDb TV.
Although Sheindlin is best known for berating those involved in the small claims disputes featured on her show, she said she recently gave the Judge Judy treatment to a man who did not wear a face mask while in a barbershop during the coronavirus pandemic.
“I walked over to him and he looked at me and smiled,” Sheindlin told the post.
“I was wearing my mask with my gown and my hair was wet. I said to him, “Do you like” Judge Judy “? He said, “Oh yeah,” and I said, “Not after today,” and I told him about respecting others and how other people care about you wearing a mask.
Sheindlin recounted telling the man, “You must be some sort of narcissist or there’s something I can’t see that makes you unique and special.” ”
According to Sheindlin, the man eventually returned and apologized – with a mask on.
