Impossible 7 COVID Rant was a publicity stunt says Leah Remini

Tom Cruise’s COVID Rant on the Set of Mission: impossible 7 was just a publicity stunt, according to ex-Scientologist and actress Leah Remini. It’s no secret that the film industry has been hit hard by the coronavirus pandemic. Several film productions have halted production and have had their release dates delayed. As for Mission: Impossible 7, production on the sequel was halted in February while the team was filming in Italy. A few months later, Mission: impossible 7 and Mission: impossible 8 were both delayed to November 19, 2021 and November 4, 2022, respectively.

Over the past few months, several studios have restarted filming on their upcoming blockbusters, albeit with strict filming guidelines in place to keep cast and crew safe. Mission: impossible 7 was able to resume filming in July, which resulted in the release of several stills and set videos to show off the movie’s crazy stunts. Recently, however, an audio clip was leaked online of Cruise shouting at Mission: impossible 7the crew for breaking COVID protocols. In the long rant, Cruise threatened to fire anyone who violates COVID protocols after spotting two people who are not socially distant while looking at a monitor. The audio was shocking to listen to from a star as big as Cruise, but now it turns out it could have been a publicity stunt.

In a long letter published by The underground bunker, Remini claims that Cruise’s long and emotional rant was actually just a publicity stunt for Mission: impossible 7. Remini claims that this rant was written for Cruise and that it was deliberately leaked online by his Scientology assistant. Remini thinks Cruise might care less about his co-workers and that this rant is just another of his abusive outbursts. A segment of Remini’s letter can be read below:

“Tom’s reaction who was released yesterday shows his true personality. He is an abusive person. I have witnessed it, been a victim of it on a small level, and been told of similar abuse from his ex-girlfriend, his employees, and his friends. He’s the real Tom. It was the same reaction Tom gave his house staff when they didn’t have the right ingredients to make him chocolate chip cookies. It’s the same kind of tirade Tom got into when an assistant had the audacity to pour him a drink from a chipped mug. ”

“Tom doesn’t care about the families of his crew; it is all for advertising. Tom doesn’t believe in family values. I mean, how someone falls for it is just mind blowing. I’d bet Tom had written this rant for him and had his Scientology Assistant record and would release it. Hearing a wealthy actor with enormous power address his team in this way is a sign of weakness and a deeply troubled person. It is do not just a rant from another ** hole actor. Tom Cruise claiming he cares is the reason a few called him out. They know it’s a publicity stunt, they know what Tom really is and what Tom really believes. Tom believes in destroying his family if a member decides to leave Scientology. Tom belongs to a sect that not allowed victims of pedophiles to report to the police, Tom belongs to a sect that not allowed rape victims report their crimes or abuse… and if they do, his sect says their lives should be destroyed for it. ”

The Church of Scientology has been the center of criticism in the past, and Remini herself was a member of the organization. In his letter, Remini attacked not just Cruise, but the Church of Scientology as a whole. Remini has spoken out against the Church on several occasions and even had a hit A&E series called Leah Remini: Scientology and its consequences. In response to their criticism, the Church of Scientology responded to their letter by stating:

“The Church of Scientology has done more than any other religious institution to promote preventive action against COVID-19 – throughout the United States and around the world. Long before the “stay at home” guidelines, the Church took aggressive steps to prevent the spread of the virus. The head of the Church acted long before the curve. Remini is an unreliable source attacking Scientology for publicity and money – as she herself admitted.

Cruise’s rant on the Mission: impossible 7 set has been a subject of controversy since it was leaked online. Many people agree with the message behind his COVID rant, but not with how he approached the problem. In August, Cruise posted a video of himself seeing Principe in theaters. It was also a controversial publicity stunt, as many claimed that Cruise cared more about reopening theaters than the well-being of moviegoers. That being said, other Hollywood figures, like Christopher Nolan, are just as excited to see theaters reopen. Moviegoers, in general, want to go back to seeing movies on the big screen, but as the box office numbers have shown, fans only want to do so once it’s safe. In the end, the rant on Cruise’s set could have been a big publicity stunt, but it might as well have been a case of a dedicated actor worrying his cast and crew are still out of work. .
