I’m a celebrity… Get me out of here! 2020 revealed that the fifth and sixth campmates would leave the castle in yet another shock double elimination.

With this year’s show being shorter than usual, the series shrinks camp faster than ever as it approaches Friday’s finals (December 4).

Tonight (December 1) was Russell Watson and Jessica Plummer who were both forced to leave the castle.

Russell and Jessica’s outings come after Victoria Derbyshire and Beverley Callard were knocked out in Monday’s episode, with Hollie Arnold and Ruthie Henshall leaving camp days before.

Jessica’s elimination means Giovanna Fletcher is the only woman left in the camp, with many fans taking to Twitter to point out that five of the six starts so far have been women.

After her elimination, Jessica said, “It all went so fast. It was a very moving roller coaster. I feel like I’ve given everything, my main thing was never wanting to stop.

“I’m a bit of a scared cat, but I’m really proud that I didn’t stop. “

Russell, who arrived late on day four, added: “It was difficult to arrive late because you feel like everyone has made their connections there. But, no, they greeted us right away and it felt like home. “
