Hawkeye adds Florence Pugh, Vera Farmiga and many more to the cast!

A day later, Hailee Steinfeld was confirmed to be joining the cast of Disney + Hawk Eye series like Kate Bishop, Variety has announced that the cast is growing with the addition of six new stars, including Black WidowFlorence Pugh et Conspiracy know Vera Farmiga!

Pugh will reprise her role as Yelena Belova from the upcoming Marvel Cinematic Universe release directed by Scarlett Johansson while Farmiga prepares to play the character of Eleanor Bishop, Kate’s mother from Steinfeld. The two are also joined by Fra Fee (Animals), Tony Dalton (You better call Saul), Alaqua Cox and Zahn McClarnon (Doctor Sleep).

the Hawk Eye The limited series will see Jeremy Renner reprise his role as Clint Barton, with the story also set to feature his protégé Kate Bishop, who has yet to be officially chosen. Hailee Steinfeld is reportedly in talks for the role.

It will be directed by Amber Finlayson and Katie Ellwood, aka Bert and Bertie, who are best known for their work on Troop zero, et Rhys Thomas (Summer of Staten Island). Hawk Eye is slated to debut in fall 2021 on Disney +.

In the comics, Bishop becomes Hawkeye after Clint Barton, and is also a member of the Young Avengers. Disney has yet to confirm whether he intends to give Bishop his own spinoff show or have it appear in the MCU later, but it is certainly a possibility.

The project’s working title “Anchor Point” actually serves as a tribute to the first volume of Kelly Thompson’s fan-favorite comic book series that was released in 2017. Titled as Vol. 1: Anchor points, this was Kate Bishop’s first solo comic series after appearing in the Young Avengers problems. However, it is still unclear whether or not the storyline of said comics would connect with the plot of the series.
