She hadn’t ordered any mural.
Then came a brochure on bipolar disorder in his mailbox. Followed by a brochure of Adam and Eve, a manufacturer of sextoys. Texts from weed and porn vendors started popping up. Tweets and Instagram posts have surfaced describing her as a cougar, only to be married to a younger man.
The smear and harassment campaign against Sisco, 49, illustrates how ugly the neighborhood tug-of-war over the issue of homelessness in the neighborhood has become, with two rival advocacy groups – NoNimby vs Upper West Siders for Safer Streets – declaring war Both.
Sisco points to a few women – including Allison Weinger – who she says are behind NoNimby, which supports the city’s decision to house hundreds of homeless men at the hotel in Lucerne. Sisco is owned by UWSSS, which has over 15,000 members on Facebook and does not want another shelter in the neighborhood.
Although Sisco is not an administrator or a monitor, she admits that she is not faultless. She took NoNimby for what she described as “bullying and doxing” from her UWSSS friends.
“I’m not a shrinking flower,” she said, “and I have a big mouth.
But she said the mural and brochures crossed the line, especially because she had a 12-year-old son. He’s the reason it’s going public now.
“If we’re all mean online, fine. I can be mean. They can be mean. This stuff happens, ”Sisco told The Post. “Sharing my address and sending things to a house where a child lives is not acceptable. This is another step. ”
The ugliness started in late August on Instagram. Sisco said she confronted Weinger after Weinger accused members of the UWSSS of harassing her. A back and forth on Instagram and Twitter followed. Sure. On November 20, Weinger had a lengthy Instagram exchange – screenshots shared with The Post – with an account holder named gislandjerseytears, whom she believes to be Sisco but Sisco denies.
Gislandjerseytears wrote: “Allison, why [Weinger’s husband] do you want to stick it in you? Maybe because you are constantly hysterical?
Allison.weinger replied, “Oh, Judi! You seem to be obsessed with my husband and our sex life. Are you projecting too much? Don’t worry, I’ve got you covered girl! Will send you vibrators, clearly you need them. ”
On December 1st, the sex toy catalog arrived.
Contacted by The Post, Weinger described herself only as a NoNimby follower.
“I don’t know who Judi is, and she attacked me and my family on Twitter,” Weinger said. “I would really like this to end. To stop all this drama and stop making up all these lies.
Sisco suspects Weinger and other NoNimby members of being behind the harassment and the giant vagina order.
“I don’t have hard evidence,” she told the Post. “But I think there are a lot of things that connect them and a lot of pointers.”
Sisco detailed “the harassment” in a Facebook post of over 700 words. Sisco said she did not go to the police, but spoke with lawyers and sent NoNimby a letter of prohibition on Instagram.
“It didn’t do anything,” she said of her letter.
