Game 5: Toledo, Michigan Recap

There is no doubt that Michigan is ready for its next challenge. That test was supposed to take place tonight against NC State, but instead the Crisler Center hosted a final tune-up game.
The Wolverines put together their best 40-minute streak of the regular season at both ends of the pitch, but we’ve now seen UM play 205 minutes this season against teams with a significant talent deficit. Enough is enough.

Michigan have faced the best that the MAC has to offer, but it’s time to level up and there are no more Toledos or Bowling Greens on the schedule. The Wolverines haven’t faced a Top 75 opponent this year, but 19 of the remaining 20 games are against top 75 teams, with more difficult tests coming on Sunday.

Michigan played a really good game on Wednesday night, but all they really told us was that it’s time to move into the next phase of the season.
