Florida wide receiver says “We’re going to come out victorious” against Alabama

This weekend cannot come soon enough.

After former Gators defensive back Jalen Tabor said Marco Wilson would ‘lock up’ Alabama’s DeVonta Smith in Saturday’s Southeastern Conference championship showdown, another Florida member took a chance at the Crimson Tide.

Trevon Grimes, a senior from Fort Lauderdale, Fla., Sees the Gators win the contest.

The 6-foot-4, 218-pound wide receiver has 34 catches for 511 yards and eight touchdowns. In an interview he had with reporters, Grimes did not hold back against Alabama.

“We know it will be a dog fight,” Grimes said. “We know we are going to come out victorious.”

Despite a 34-37 loss to LSU at Ben Hill Griffin Stadium last week, Florida feel very confident in how they match up at the Tide at Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta. As Nick Saban and Alabama pursue their seventh SEC title, the Gators are chasing their first conference crown since 2008 with Tim Tebow. With a lot of talk comes a lot of entertainment, and fans will be entertained this week.
