Tyrese Gibson says there is “peace” in Fast furious family once again after their infamous argument with co-star Dwayne Johnson.

A few years ago Tyrese said The Rock was “selfish” for pursuing his Hobbs and Shaw movie because he thought the spinoff movie was responsible for pushing Fast and Furious 9 (which has since been delayed several times).

Johnson then called his co-star’s comments “disappointing” while insisting that “there is no need to have a conversation” about the situation, but something has apparently changed recently.

During an appearance on Stir crazy, Tyrese revealed that a peacemaking conversation had indeed taken place in recent weeks.

“I actually said that about The Rock, and I and The Rock made peace by the way,” he said. “We spoke for four hours about three weeks ago. We talked. We did at least four hours which was great. “

Johnson is not coming back for Fast and Furious 9 for a showdown with Vin Diesel following their own feud, but he also didn’t shut the door completely in the tenth and final film.

“Who knows with Fast 10 on the road, you never know? “He said MTV Last year. “Because, look, at the end of the day, the truth is there’s unfinished business between Hobbs and Dom (Vin Diesel). It’s unfinished. “

Fast and Furious 9 Director Justin Lin confirmed last month that the film was “officially finished” five months before its scheduled theatrical release next spring.
