Broadway theaters abruptly closed on March 12, eliminating all shows – including 16 that were still scheduled to open – and indefinitely postponing the Tony Awards schedule.
The growers, citing health and municipal authorities, have extended the shutdown until June 7, then again until September 6 and finally until January 2021 at the earliest.
