The Auburn Tigers host the Texas A&M Aggies and meet Saturday in SEC college football action from Jordan-Hareon the Plains.

Texas A&M comes into this one at 6-1 so far. The Aggies are on a five-game winning streak right now, coming off a 14-point win over LSU last weekend. As for Auburn, they arrive at 5-3 this season. The Tigers enjoyed a three-game winning streak against rival Alabama in their last appearance. Check back all season for free college football picks at Sports Chat Place.

Texas A&M opened with a narrow win over Vanderbilt and a 52-24 loss to Alabama, but since then it’s been five straight wins. In that streak, the Aggies beat Florida 41-38, MS State 28-14, Arkansas 42-31, South Carolina 48-3 and LSU 20-7 to claim their status as one of the best teams in the country.

In the win over LSU, Texas A&M quarterback Kellen Mond had 105 yards on 11 of 34 assists. Ainias Smith was the top receiver there with 36 yards on three catches, and Isaiah Spiller carried the game with 27 bins for 141 yards and a TD.
On Auburn’s side, they’ve had some tight fumbles and a few tough losses against tough teams this season. The Tigers have enjoyed a three-game winning streak against Mississippi 35-28, LSU 48-11 and Tennessee 30-17, but last weekend Auburn fell big to Alabama 42-13.

In the loss against the tide, Auburn quarterback Bo Nix posted 227 yards and two interceptions, while Anthony Schwartz led the receivers for 60 yards on five catches. Mark-Antony Richards led the offense in this one with 57 yards on 14 carries.

The Aggies are 17-35 CÉP in their last 52 road games against a team with a winning record at home and 2-5 CÉP against a team with a winning record. The Least is 8-3 in Texas A&M’s last 11 games, and the Least is 5-2 in the last seven games in December.

Meanwhile, Auburn is 6-1 CEP in its last seven games in December and 12-4 CEP in its last 16 home games. The Tigers are 1-4 ATS against a team with a winning record and under 5-0 in their last five games.

TO CHOOSE: I like Texas A&M a bit better here. It should be a very entertaining game, however, and one of the best games of the weekend. Auburn is normally a pretty good team, but they’ve struggled against the best defenses: just 13 points against Alabama, six against Georgia, etc. The Aggies have allowed 14 points or less in three of their last four games, and I think they’ll be putting a pinch on the defense here. It should be a great game, but I like Texas A&M to cover late.
