Carl Lentz seeks treatment for “depression and burnout”

Disgraced pastor Carl Lentz receives help after being accused of cheating on his wife with “several” wives.

The former head of the trendy Hillsong Church in New York is seeking treatment at an outpatient facility specializing in depression, anxiety and pastoral burnout, a source confirmed to Page Six on Tuesday evening.

“Carl wants to be better for his family and is dedicated to getting the job done. His family are supportive of him and hope their privacy will be respected on this trip, ”the source said.

Lentz was kicked out of Hillsong last month after 10 years, shortly before confirming he had been unfaithful to his wife Laura, the mother of his three children.

As we have revealed, Lentz and his wife went through “intensive” therapy; the source said he was working to restore his confidence.

“He has no ill will towards the church and recognizes that they had to take action to remedy his missteps,” they added.

It was revealed that Lentz had an affair with Brooklyn designer Ranin Karim.
Hillsong boss Brian Houston was then caught on camera discussing Lentz’s multiple affairs.
