The Gunners head into the London derby after winning just once in their last 10 Premier League games, and following Wednesday’s 4-1 loss to Man City in the League Cup.
Arteta’s position is now under close scrutiny, with the sacking of PSG manager Thomas Tuchel now leading fans’ calls for the Spaniard to be replaced at the helm.
It looks like the Arsenal boss is also fighting with a serious dose of behind-the-scenes player power, as the recent exchange between Matteo Guendouzi and Mesut Ozil on social media seemed to suggest.

“I think the base of support around the manager should really help him in every decision.
“I was screaming on TV the other night. Martinelli – a very good player, a very good talent – he was injured five minutes before half-time.

In particular, the acquisition of Willian on a free transfer from Chelsea is at the top of these, the Brazilian not having impressed since arriving at the Emirates.
