Netflix a a couple of Obamas fabrication content for its platform, and now Apple has lined up a few Clintons to complement its own Apple TV + streaming offerings: As announced today in a press release, Chelsea Clinton and Hillary Clinton will host and produce a new ‘docuseries event “Called Brave women which “will highlight a rich and diverse cast of pioneering women.” Women who are, in other words, courageous.

The show is based on the Clintons The Book of Courageous Women: Favorite Stories of Courage and Resilience, and the aforementioned press release describes the show as their “quest” to understand “what exactly it takes to be a brave woman.” The press release offers no response or names any of the brave women, but Wikipedia lists all the people mentioned in the book. It might be a spoiler for the TV show, but there are people like Harriet Tubman, Helen Keller, Anne Frank, Malala Yousafzai, Greta Thunberg, Jane Goodall, Venus and Serena Williams, Ida B. Wells, Rosa Parks and Ellen DeGeneres on the list, so most of them will probably get a scream at least. The press release does not say when Brave women will premiere, but it sounds like the sort of thing that could be done with relative ease during the pandemic, so it might not be as well in the distance.
