If working from home this year has made you develop a new love for daytime television, then you will be in luck on Christmas Day.
ITV’s daytime programming will air all of its own Christmas specials on December 25.
The channel revealed that Christmas morning will begin at 7 a.m. with a special Good Morning Britain.
Piers Morgan and Susanna Reid “to celebrate COVID heroes across the country, like Captain Sir Tom [Moore] to the incredible NHS staff who have saved so many lives.
The follow-up at 9 a.m. will be Lorraine with its usual dose of fashion and beauty inspiration from its team of experts, as well as extra festive content.
Then, at 10 a.m., Phillip Schofield and Holly Willoughby will take over for the first day of Christmas. This morning.
The extra-special episode is promised to be “full of heartwarming surprises, special guests and favorite familiar faces.”
The afternoon will start with some useful cooking tips, with James Martin presenting James Martin’s Christmas Day.
ITV promises “there will be a mouthwatering recipe from Michelin-starred Tom Kerridge, as well as Ritz chef John Williams and Bake Off Creme De La Creme winner Mark Tilling will present viewers with some of his deliciously decadent chocolate creations.
Following this, there will be a special Christmas episode of Ainsley’s Festive Food We Love with a list of special guests.
Quiz fans will be happy as this is followed by a festive Warwick Davis special ‘ Defensible and a celebrity special from The hunt.
Colin Jackson, Anne Diamond, Josie Long and Nicky Campbell are the stars who take on the Chasers in the hopes of making money for charity.
