The special reunion of the Prince of Bel-Air in Crave on November 19


Crave has confirmed that it will start broadcasting The prince of Bel-Air Special reunion in Canada on November 19, the same one that premiered on US streaming service HBO Max.Officially titled The fresh prince of the Bel-Air reunion, the special sees nearly all of the surviving cast members of the popular sitcom come together to reflect on the popular sitcom. Notably, the special was filmed in the middle of the COVID-19 pandemic on September 10 – exactly 30 years after the series premiered on NBC – on the set of Banks.

In the unscripted special, stars Will Smith (Will), Alfonso Ribeiro (Carlton), Daphne Maxwell Reid (the second actress to play Aunt Vivian), Tatyana Ali (Ashley), Karyn Parsons (Hilary), Joseph Marcell (Geoffrey) and DJ “Jazzy” Jeff (Jazz) discusses their time on the show and the cultural impact it has had. Of course, they also pay tribute to the late actor Uncle Phil James Avery, who died in December 2013.

Additionally, Smith enlists Janet Hubert-Whitten, who played Aunt Vivian for the show’s first three seasons before being replaced by Reid. The only unconfirmed cast member to make an appearance is Ross Bagley, who played Banks’ youngest child Nicky in the show’s last two seasons.

The fresh prince of the Bel-Air reunion is one of several HBO Max Originals coming to Crave as part of Bell’s exclusive Canadian licensing agreement with Warner Media. Other HBO Max on Crave content includes the romantic comedy series directed by Anna Kendrick Love life, Comedy film by Seth Rogen American pickle, Ridley Scott’s Science Fiction Series Raised by wolves and Kaley Cuoco’s upcoming thriller series The stewardess (coming November 26).
