‘The Mandalorian’ season 3 production begins, spin-off and cast – Deadline


Original Disney + Signature Series, The Mandalorian, has just returned for its second season, which had wrapped up production just before the pandemic struck in March. Although not officially greenlit, a third season of the hit Star wars The series has been in pre-production for months, with creator, director and executive producer Jon Favreau publicly stating that he hopes to start filming by the end of 2020. This may be the case, with some sources indicating that the new season could start production in late November / early December and as early as next week, while others are pointing towards early 2021.Season 3 of The Mandalorian was recently listed in Production Weekly with the working title Boucanier, triggering a guessing game among fans as to what that moniker might imply.
