We spoke to host “AI” in New York on Wednesday and asked if Claudia Conway had gotten a free pass to be on the show (or a chance to participate, at least) because of his last name and influence… on TikTok and elsewhere. Ryan tells us that’s not the case – or not to his knowledge, anyway. He admits there was a lot to talk to him about because of his history and his connection to Donald Trump … But when we insisted, RS said how far it goes should be based on merit.

That said, he threw his hands up a bit … noting that he is only the host of the show and that he doesn’t have much to say about his advancement. It will ultimately depend on her, the judges, the audience… and probably a lot of executive producers. Another little detail he shared about his time with the child … his father, George Conway, apparently is the one who was with her for that ‘Idol’ audition she went to recently. Ryan even says Claudia called her a great coach – how about that?!?

Claudia has put George in the spotlight before on her trip, and it seemed more than a game to get on one of her TikToks and play with lip sync and dance. So yes, it’s clear he’s been supporting her all the way – no word if Kellyanne is on board. Anywho… when we tried to open the conversation about what Claudia’s “Idol” hearing might mean for her mom and her Trump supporters, Ryan wisely said goodbye to us 👋🏽.
