The video doesn’t specify how Rivian will be a game-changer based on the new specs that have been revealed not price, but the latter is very likely to be responsible. After all, the R1T won’t be as expensive as most people initially thought.
With the federal tax credit of $ 7,500, the Rivian pickup truck would start at $ 60,000. Sullins believes some versions of the Ford F-150 and other combustion engine competitors are around this. Simply put, this would make the R1T competitive against those high end classic pickups.
With a range of over 300 miles, the R1T would attract people keen on something new and could possibly win their hearts and pockets without much more effort than just being an EV. If they are used as cars that ultimately transport things. If they’re used like trucks – especially for towing – the EV side of things can take a toll on the experience.
